Ed & Carro first contacted me with the idea of a surprise wedding! Immediately I was on board haha We caught up during the day for a first look in their apartment & then on to roam around St Kilda to some of their favourite locations, including their regular coffee shop & glasshouse gardens. We then headed back to their engagement party where they settled in with a few drinks before sneaking out the back to change into their wedding gear for the ultimate surprise! My favourite moment was waiting around the corner with them in pure joy as they were being announced & hearing the reactions of their friends & family inside. It was an epic surprise wedding...
What en epic day this was!
Brad & Rach were super keen on creating a fun atmosphere for everyone at their wedding
We started with a first look on cliffs by the ocean and went on to explore more of the Great Ocean rd coastline
Their outdoor ceremony was at the beautiful Kangaroobie grounds with the reception/party to follow
We absolutely sent it after their ceremony with confetti cannons & smoke flares at sunset, which was definitely a big hit with he kids watching on!
These guys didn’t hold back on the dance floor either as the party went long into the night & kicked into second gear with a steady flow of martinis
Ever thought about having a festival for your wedding?
Well, this epic couple did exactly that! With food trucks for dinner, Teepee’s all over the place & festoons lighting up the night.
Lliam + Dana are the most adventurous, fun loving couple out there, and their wedding was a reflection of that.
I had the pleasure of shooting alongside Joel, the incredibly talented photographer behind Barefoot&Bearded (http://barefootandbearded.com) & Eve from Filmsbyeve (https://filmsbyeve.com).
I’m truly grateful for this experience & credit Joel for his insane eye on this shoot!
Check out some highlights below featuring a boat, a cactus farm, sunset on the hills, smoke bombs & a dance floor that was pumping long into the night.
