Ruth & Tom at Portsea Hotel, Mornington Peninsula
This was a big one, full of heart & special moments. Ruth & Tom have family in both the UK & New Zealand so they had their ceremony & reception live streamed, even crossing to the TV for live speeches from the other side of the world!
They got ready in stunning Airbnbs in Portsea & Sorrento then on to Portsea Hotel for ceremony & reception. With a little break in between for some pretty wild photos out on the back coast in amongst the wind & rain.
Even though this was a smaller wedding of close friends they certainly knew how to party!
Emma & Sophat Mt Hotham Adventure session These images were taken on a mix of both digital & film cameras (35mm & square 6x6 medium format) We set out hiking across the Razorback Ridge in the afternoon, taking a few shots on the way out & just enjoying the walk. Both Emma & Sophat are also photographers so we had a sweet time chatting about light & nerding out with my old film cameras that I brought along. Once we reached the top the light started to soften for sunset & it was go time! Adventure sessions in the mountains really are special, getting back to the cars in the dark we were full of excitement about...
Sharon & Brayden found me in a Top 10 Wedding photographer blog & reached out for a Couples sunset session on the Peninsula - which is also on my website & the rest is history.
We connected & had such a sweet time together, I’ve since been lucky enough to photograph their wedding at Yarra Ranges Estate in Yarra Valley as well as a family session for their parents & an Adventure session for Sharons sister.
This is a seriously stunning & intimate wedding
